OPI Physical Therapy offers the most comprehensive sports rehabilitation in Knoxville. We are athletes helping athletes. Therefore we have a deep understanding and compassion for the injured athlete. Rehab should be taken into a continuum of performance enhancement and injury prevention. By using the most current techniques, pursuing advanced certifications and utilizing evidence-based treatments our goal is to get you back to your activity as quickly as safely possible.
Significant limitations, imbalances, and asymmetries drastically distort motor learning, movement perception, body awareness, and mechanics. After our comprehensive evaluation process we will attack these problem areas via skilled manual and exercise-based interventions to increase movement efficiency and decrease pain. Dry needling has recently been integrated into this approach as a very effective catalyst to bring about positive adaptations even more rapidly.
All physical therapy services customized to your needs and treatment will be performed one-on-one by a licensed PT (board certified as a clinical specialist in sports physical therapy).

• TN State Law Chapter 1150-1-.02: "The scope of physical therapy shall be under the written or oral referral of a licensed doctor of medicine, chiropractic, dentistry, podiatry or osteopathy." Certain exceptions are allowed depending on circumstances (contact us for specifics).
• If you need to see a qualified physician we can help facilitate referral and have you seen within 48hrs (if deemed appropriate).
Insurance
OPI is a preferred provider in network with most major insurance companies. We handle the verification, authorization, and billing to your insurance company.
Associated Costs
Fee-for-service option: $125 initial evaluation, $75 for each subsequent treatment session (may vary depending on services rendered).
